Named after the Hayden Flour Mill that was opened in 1874, Mill Ave. became known as the heartbeat of Tempe and continues as that today as it is the epicenter of civic and cultural events for the entire region. A stone's throw from Arizona State University, Mill Avenue has that unmistakable college vibe and energy, and holds fond memories for Sun Devil Alumni throughout Arizona and across the country.
