"1st Rounder"
"1st Rounder" is an 48"H x 30"W original acrylic on canvas featuring Sun Devil great Jordyn Tyson. He was chosen with the 8th pick in the NFL draft by the New Orleans Saints. He was the first ASU player chosen in the top ten in the draft since Terrell Suggs was chosen 10th, 23 years ago. I love this painting and think it is one of my very best ASU pieces. The catch is of Tyson's 19 yard TD against Baylor. It shows exactly what Jordyn always did on the field as a Sun Devil, make the spectacular catch look routine. I used some artistic license with the uniform, as I put him in the 1975 throwbacks which I love. They wore those uniforms against Texas Tech not Baylor, but I felt this made for a better painting.

*Canvas prints come on 1.5" deep stretcher bars with black sides, gloss varnish, and come ready to hang, no framing necessary.
